no mate, when i try to renew my xbox live, it was on the advert saying that those 2 games are free for 12 months renewal

Hello, if you entered the correct code and it reported it was already redeemed, you need to go back to the retailer where you purchased the code from in the first place.

You could also check your purchase history at
https://account.microsoft.com/ and check - it may be listed already (if you've done it multiple times, the first one should have redeemed.. still worth checking)

Have you swapped Microsoft Accounts in Windows 10? if so, this would also cause this problem, if you tried to redeem the code a 2nd time on another account

Mine worked. You need to redeem it in the game it self. Go to the menu of the game And Click "Online Pass" and redeem it from the game it self.
