Gaming Receiver doesen't work (HEELP)

Hey i have been stuck on this problem for 3 hours now. I just bought Xbox 360 controller for windows, where there is a xbox 360 and a gaming receiver included, i hooked the gaming receiver to my PC, then it said driver did not get installed (i have my windows
7 on danish so it might a other translation), but it shows XBOX 360 Wireless Receiver For Windows under ''other components'' and there is a yellow mark on it.

I tried download the software through the web, but after the setup is done and i press ''Finish'' it says: ''Setup cannot continue because an unexpected error has occured''.

Then i tried with the disc that came along and it says the exact same. If at least the setup would work i could try download the driver manually but since the setup can get through there is no further solution i can think of

And the weird thing is that on my both brothers pc's the gaming receiver works completely fine, and their pc doesen't even need to download the software manually, it just get downloaded automatically and ready to use

Is it possible that these games you purchased or played may be apart of the Games with Gold feature? If so, you need a Gold subscription to continue playing Games with Gold games.

Windows has most of the drivers for Xbox controllers and wireless receivers already, but sometimes you need to give it a bit of help.

Try this method: Open your device manager and double click on the receiver with the yellow mark on it. Then select the Driver tab and click on "Update driver". Next, select "Browse my computer for driver software" and then "Let me pick from a list of device
drivers on my computer". Then scroll all the way to the bottom and look for "Xbox 360 Peripherals". Select that and then choose "Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows".

Install that and you should be good to go.
