Gaming PC/XBox Sign In Help

Hi,

So atm my outlook account signs into my son's Xbox and we also pay via our card for his monthly game pass. He now has brought a gaming pc and I want to transfer the Xbox into his name so it them comes up with his outlook details and account. Does anyone know if I am able to do this and if so how? ATM everything is under my outlook email and I want this to be all under his.

Also I want to remove all the child restrictions from his outlook email as there not needed I don't want these on the account, if anyone would be able to help it would be good as the gaming pc is new and I want it all set up for him under his outlook.

If you do that he'll lose access to the games and saves on your account.

Yes this is the issue I don't want him to be under me anymore. I think it will be better to remove the xbox from my Hotmail account and create him a new live.com account and use this. I am worried that once I remove the Xbox from my account then all the games etc will not be saved for him with the xbox but he does have his own Xbox account on it.

Its a tough one but he s too old to have all the child restrictions anymore everything should just be with him. I guess my question was if I remove the Xbox from my MS account and put it under his will everything go with it or will be go back to like a new user on the Xbox?

he needs his own account, the xbox account IS the microsoft account IS the email account, nothing can be transferred unfortunately.

The only way to achieve this is by making his email an alias to the account. There's no way to transfer everything to him.

if he adds an alias then his son still has access to the fathers emails, account, payment option etc. making an alias is not a work around for this, they need separate accounts
