Gaming mouse and keyboard keep accidentally opening Xbox home

So i decided to plug in a keyboard and gaming mouse to my xbox one to play the game fortnite. I assigned the wall build to my farther back forward button on my gaming mouse. But for some reason, when i press that special button on my mouse and the
letter A, the xbox home menu pops up. The only other way to open that menu is to press the windows key on my keyboard. Even if i put the windows lock key on my keyboard, this still happens i dont want the menu on xbox to keep popping up when i press a mouse
button and A. Can anyone help?

No there are no other issues with the keyboard, its actually new. Im pretty sure its something to do with multiple binded keys but i dont know how to know that or fix it...

Are you having any other issues outside of fortnite? Sounds like the problem I had after I spilt water into my keyboard. Other than that you might have two actions binded to one key

I am happy to help and try my best to resolve this issue. You can use wired USB mice and keyboards for navigation in select games and apps and—with a keyboard—getting around on Xbox.

Things to keep in mind:

You can’t use a mouse on Home (Your main dashboard) or within the Xbox user interface while navigating the dashboard.
You’ll need to use your controller to configure your mouse. Settings does not support mouse interaction.
Microsoft Edge works with a mouse but also has an on-screen cursor.
