Gaming HEadset

So with the news that my wife and I will be having a third baby. I have decided it is time to invest in a gaming headset that I can have the audio from my TV and Xbox One play through so that way at night when I get the chance to play my xbox...I dont have
to have the volume turned all the way down. Can anyone recommend a good headset?

Setting up Turtle Beach x12's

These will be my first turtle beach headset or any gaming headset,

 

I use the Turtle Beach X07's. Excellent sound quality. Comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. And no sound escapes while you're wearing it.

 

Why are you considering the two headsets with such a massive price difference?

If i was happy paying £180 I would go the extra £20 and get the new TB Stealths, which have a good reputation.

I have never seen anyone saying they have or how good razors are, although they do look funky.

 

The reason they are so different in prices is I want the Tiamat, but I am not sure if it will do what i want with the Xbox One. The other one states it is for the Xbox one. Will both of these project the sound from my xbox and TV?

I went with razer because I have always used them in the past for Computer accessories, and find them to be really reliable and good.

 

all good and well getting razor but unless they have optical in then the 7.1 drivers built in are going to be useless as the xbox one controller only outputs stereo.

 

I'm fine if they don't do the true 7.1 with the xbox...if i get the tiamat I would then be able to use it with my computer as well. But both of those headsets will work with the Xbox One?

i use the turtle beach XO7's - wireless from the xbox itself, just plugs in like a normal headset.

 

i have the XO7s and the stealth 500P

The XO7s are very comfortable, more then any other headset i tried and sound great. the stealth 500p is a good option as it works on any system and is cheaper and still sounds good
