Gaming ambiance

Depends on my mood and what I'm playing. Most of the times I would rather have the game sounds. Sometimes my own playlist music in competitive games will let me relax and play more naturally. I mean if I'm grinding BDO I can go for music most of the time
with that game. Call of duty or things where I like to hear any sound for advantages I tend to go with just game audio.

Yeah you need both sight and sound to feel immersed. Sure you can be missing sound and if you have no hearing at all it will not make difference but a game like Hellblade is 100% biult around the 3D audio. You'll lose so much impact without it.

I agree with you. If I dont have any sound I feel like I'm just clacking on a controller. Sounds give you that feeling of actually being there or driving deep into the story. Some games like ori and the blind Forrest bank HEAVILY on the sounds or music.

It depends on what game it is for me. Usually I have the game sound on, but with the music off so I can listen to Spotify instead. Sometimes I have the sound and music both on. If it's an FPS, I usually don't need to hear the music for the millionth time.

I need the game sound on but in most games I turn the game music down as I feel immersed with low volume music rather than having it blasting away.
