@ICN3D, i dont think he will. It may become an option.but to many still support physical base. Imo djgit distribution on a massive scale is still very unreliable. -alot of users experience difficulty with downloads and not receiving full and complete code.
The world wide web just is not efficient enough.

 

@Listed, I guess it irritates me that people complain about "incentives" they receive. I have not pre-ordered TF, and I wont. The people who step up and do and get a "freebie".... good; as I said it is an incentive. The issue is that they are not happy
with this, which speaks volumes to there character and mentality. The "I expect because" attitude.... (face palm while shaking head)...

I only see pre order as an lay away plan under wraps. Incentives are cool but not always quality. It does suck when people rant over this topic as it is a poster myself or yourself will not have... Its pretty cool solely based on some people will not have
it.

You can get Titanfall with a free 10 dollar giftcard at newegg.com. It's tax free and free shipping. I was expecting a better deal for this game though, I will probably wait a week or two to buy it.

@ Listeda - People have been using Steam for a long time with little to no problems....they and I would like to differ with you.

Also you're not realizing I said in the near future. In the next 3-5 years the internet is going to be really fast.

AT&T has 45mbps and charter communications is upping there's in as many areas as possible to 60mbps.

Other countries have even faster internet already, the US just sucks for it.

No matter which continent you try to put the blame on it is still a factor. No smart business man will take the wants of the few over the needs of many.

Now in 5+ years the tech will probably be there for most others as well.

I can only imagine since i do not use steam currently, that the data transfer does not exceed 10g per game??? Did you add that in your theory?

Also America's infrastructure is rated #5 in the world! Thats not crappy in my book.

 

ICN...Time warner is one of the largest providers in the US and their speed is upwards to 100mbps and no data caps at all...not too shabby yeah?...

My local GameStop is cheap lol they do not give much at all. You can go and have the displays if you can catch them when they are changing them though!!!
