Gamestop Pre-Order

Ok, so I preordered the ROI expansion from Gamestop. When I got the code yesterday I typed into the xbox and all it did was give me a $30 credit. Did a little more digging and was able to do a search for the ROI preorder which seemed to be connected to
my code. Yesterday the "preorder" button was there and this morning the "buy" button was there.

Here is my issue, as soon as I click either of those buttons they change to say "working", but nothing else happens. The game doesn't download or anything the system just hangs up. Anyone else have this issue? Guess rule of thumb here is to never buy something
from Gamestop.

I just got a text as well saying to arrive at 6pm. I'll be there closer to 9. If I go at all. Haven't decided if I'll wait till after work Friday. I do work from 6-3 so no big deal. haha

i didn't get a call saying my cod was ready so i dont' expect one for this. i know i paid off my day one edition "even though i ordered it when it got reopened" and my receipt says day one, so i'll be there raising hell if it's not there and ready at midnight
release lol

 

First, Calm down.... It works just fine if you consider that you're updating TTK. Try this:

For those of you that preordered through Gamestop:

1) Go to Xbox Store

2) Click Use a Code

3) Redeem code given by Gamestop (turns out it is just a $30 Microsoft gift card)

4) Now that you have the $30 credit ignore the Xbox Store.

5) Launch your game.

6) Click on the yellow Rise of Iron symbol that is to the top right of Earth in the Director.

7) Click Purchase and go through the checkout process.

8) Close Destiny and open My Games and Apps.

9) Go to Destiny, click stark and click Manage Game.

10) You should see two things:

- Destiny: Rise of Iron, 10 MB, Pre-ordered

- Iron Gjallarhorn and Iron Gjallarwing Sparrow Pre-order Bonus, 10 MB, Pre-Ordered

(depending on how quickly you closed Destiny and opened My Games and Apps you'll see those in either Ready to install or already under Installed)

I followed the instructions, but #7 must not have worked properly. On step 10, I don't see those items, and my $30 Gamestop credit was used. My microsoft account indicates the purchase was made.

 

i got the thirty dollar gift card too and all that happened when i pressed pre-order was it got stuck on working and now i cant get my goddam g-horn or g-wing. im *** off

 

On step 7, I click on purchase and it says query failed, and does not let me buy the expansion, but I still got the other pre order bonuses.
