Gamespass issues with family group

I'm a clueless mum with 3 kids and due to lack of telephone or chat support getting very frustrated. We're all under the Xbox family and I recently got gamepass ultimate free with bt. Problem is, my older kid can access it and play free games online with his friends and the youngest can't. The other doesn't use it anyway, so irrelevant. How do I fix it so my youngest can play online games like his big brother please? Any ideas?

Whichever.account has.the subsvription has to.set one console as home

Then both accounts can use that console online or offline

The second console only the subscriber can use it online

If it is on pc you have to sign in on the purchasing account on the xbox store to install

But cloud play it can only be on the subscriber account and they can only be signed in on one place at a time

You would need to make sure you have the console set as your Home console. That is what allows you to share the games/subscription with the other accounts. https://support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/console/my-home-xbox

No, it is not. I thought I mentioned in the post that I even tried adding it to a family group, tested the settings, and then switched it so that it was the manager of the family group. Neither of those things worked. It is now not part of a family group. In addition, each of the times I attempted to access the settings from the account that was only listed as a member, not as the owner of the family group, I was unable to even get to the page that displays the settings. This leads me to believe that being part of a family group has no bearing on the issue at hand.
