    So my friend is trying to game share with me so I can play call of duty black ops Cold War with them online so they added my account to their Xbox for them to make my account on their home Xbox and I tried to see if I have online but it doesn’t work for me on my end but it works on their end for online game share and I have an Xbox one s and they have a Xbox one as well and I’m having problems with getting online when they are gamesharing with me.

    GameSharing with another person

    Game sharing outside your physical household is a violation of terms of service and can lead to account and console bans.

    Activision specifically blocks sharing for this reason.

    Hi Casey,

    Game sharing is only for people of the same household.

    Game sharing like you are trying would be a violation of the Tos and could result in a ban.

    But good that it didn't work, right !

    Are you gamesharing F4 with another person? If you are and you have been playing the game in another console as well you should set your xbox console as home. This seems to solve the issue.

    have you gameshared with anyone, the only 2 ways that an xbox account gets compromised is either a very easy to guess password or you shared credentials with another person to game share.
