gamesharing for new games does not work anymore since we have the series x

hi all,

my brother and me both bought a series x. we connected them via this "familysharing" thing. since we bought the SX, he bought 2 games that do not appear in my library. its also not possible to activate them in the store. all the older games work fine on
my new SX.

meanwhile i downloaded them via the app, but it seems, that i only downloaded them, i still can not play them as my console says "do u really own that app"?

i already did a hard reset. i dont want to do reset to factorysettings as i have no familysharing left until in a few months. furthermore all the old stuff works well...

what can be the problem?

yes, by the way: as i wrote, all the older games work well...

Did you guys update the “home xbox” to the new consoles?

There's not a One X series. There is a One X and a Series X. A Series X (and Series S) are the newest consoles and what new games will be released for. Anything labelled as a One is old gen and studies are not releasing many games for those anymore.

I have this problem on series x same with yours except it does it on different games been getting since I brought a new Xbox

I bought Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles back then on the Xbox 360. I played them on Xbox One X and even earlier this year on my Xbox Series X, Sonic 3 even supported HDR. However since Sega announced Sonic Origins these games were made unavailable and since then my games don't work on the Series X anymore. They do still work on the Xbox 360. I think this is unacceptable on Sega's part, as I paid for this game and thus should still be able to play it regardless of it not being in the store anymore.
