home xbox problems and gamesharing problems

hello im trying to gameshare with my friend and we have had some trouble getting it to work. I have gameshared before with my cousin and we stopped because he found someone else too gameshare with. Everything was working just fine with my friend until he
got a pop up saying he can only set a home xbox 3 times a year when he tried to set my account as his home xbox. It worked just fine on my end but we had no idea about the 3 times a year thing... I was wondering if there was any way at all he can reset his
counter to 0 so we can get it to work. I found a forum this morning about this same situation and xbox support has to "hard reset" his gamertag or something like that. I am really worried about this not working and I really hope that someone can reset his
counter. (btw this is my first time posting in the forums and I don't know if im in the right place.)

 

Gamesharing

My son in law gameshared BO3 and Forza 6 about 2 months ago everything worked ok until lastnight i went to play BO3 and was told to either insert game disk or purchase game from game store.can anyone tell me why i cannot play these 2 games now?

 

You can't ask to do that here. By sharing account information to gameshare with someone here, you would be violating the code of conduct and putting both of you at risk for being banned.

 

as a xbox ambassador i would be carful. with whomever you game share with that way they dont hack your account.
