Gameshare sort of works, sort of doesn't...

I have been using gameshare with the same person for many years now. Recently I noticed some games were not in my game list anymore. These are games that he has purchased and I have played in the past. Now, they magically are uninstalled and require purchase. Another weird thing is that it's not all of his games, only a few. So it sort of works and it sort of doesn't. He is not having the same problem. His stuff works fine. Has anyone else experienced this or have a solution? I looked online and couldn't find this exact problem anywhere. Thanks.

Press and hold the power button on your Xbox for 10 seconds, wait for it to turn off. Unplug it. Now wait 1 minute before turning it on.

So check if it is working normally now.

All that we can really tell you (given that this is the official Xbox 360 forums), is to send the console in for repair...if it's out of warranty MS charges around 100 bucks...for opening up your console and replacing the fans. Because apparently that's
how hard it is to do that! No seriously though. That's all anyone here can tell you to do. It could also be a power issue but that's unlikely.

Now, I'm unsure if you actually read my post, as I mentioned previously I have repeatedly checked my settings because that's the only piece of advice I've been given by anyone on any sort of forum to try to fix it. The only thing that I can think of is that maybe since I am only getting xbox live gold through gameshare It doesn't work, but that just doesn't really make sense because it worked prior to a week or two ago while I also only had gameshared xbox live gold.
