Gameshare questions...

Thanks for taking the time to look over my questions. I’ve had an Xbox one since release and finally just upgraded to an Xbox One S.

Previously, I game shared with my friend on my original Xbox, and I believe he should still be connected to my account on his Xbox. However I am no longer connected to his Xbox and games. I assume I just have to re-sign into his account and make my Xbox
home correct?

Between my friend and I, we never shared our Gold Status or EA Acess membership. I’m reading you can but maybe only on the one Home Xbox?

Is this possible on 2 or even more consoles to share memberships? Or is it only games?

Finally can you gameshare with more than one other account or console? I game share with my friend, but I gave my sister my old Xbox. Currently using it with just a free membership. Is there a way to share Gold Membership with her and keep gamesharing with
my friend? Or is there a way for her play any games at all with a free membership account? (She’d be interested in Sims4 and likely Just Dance for reference)

Gameshare question

I know that when you gameshare with someone you make their account your home Xbox. But what if I want to Gameshare with two friends? Would I have to keep switching their accounts as home back and forth?

Typically setting another console as a home console to allow other uses to have access to the "game" isn't intended to Gameshare but lets assume its a roomate or extended family

The part that is accessible for others is only the game. Any DLC, addons, packages or bonuses other than the base game will not be accessible by others. Understand most of this is tied to the gamertag and not the console so my suggestion is that both of
you make a purchase or one of you will miss out on anything other than the game.

As described it seems this is being done intentionally for benefits so be careful as there could be negative impacts down the road but specific to your question.....this is not designed to work as you desire it to.

Since you got a new console, your friend would need to make your new console his Home console so you can access his games. You should not be sharing account information. That does violate the code of conduct.

The Home setting does allow you to share gold as well as games. I'm not sure about EA Access.

You can only use the Home setting on one console at a time.

 

ok. Thanks for the help. How about this scenario.

Xbox 1 - Set as my Home Xbox with Gold, but uses separate free membership account.

Xbox 2- Set as Home Xbox with free membership, but I sign in and play with The Gold account.

Would this allow the two consoles to share Xbox Live? Or am I missing something here?

 

If the gold is tied to your account, you would be sharing gold in either scenario. You can only share gold on one console at a time. You can set another console as your Home console so you can share your gold there, and you can use your gold on any console
you sign into.
