Gameshare not letting friend sign in to MW

My friend gameshared with me and after I got the game I went to play it but my friend couldn't play it it said multiple logins of this account and I wasn't logged.

You might want to power cycle the console!

Please try turn the console off and unplug the power cord, wait for 1 to 2 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the console!

Why is it now that in order for the gamesharing to work for me, I have to have both my gamertag and my gameshare partner/friend signed in? Thanks.

You stated your friend is gamesharing their gold with you>>>is it possible they no longer have an active gold subscription? Also, you stated 2 of your friends logged into your account and they said you have gold? Is it possible when they signed into your
account they still had their account sign in and they have a active gold subscription.

Also, if your gamesharing with someone, and that person is gamesharing their gold with you, if you sign into another console it wont show you have gold. I assume you have the friend account set to home on your console. Even if they are gamesharing with
you>>>if you sign into your account on a different console you wont have access to the gold or games. You only have access to gold and games on your console.
