Gamescom 2014

Absolutely outstandingly excited for Gamescom this year... not only because I will be there, but Quantum Break, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, The Witcher 3 are some of the games I have to see.

Is anyone from the forums going this year (as press or regular pass) I'd happily say Hi... ?

If not - what are you looking forward to seeing on the live streams, or wish to be announced - Microsoft have a few surprises up their sleeves I hear!

Looking forward to seeing Quantum Break properly at last! any info on the new Gears would be good too, and, although i've given up hope of seeing it anytime soon, i'll say it anyway..Fallout 4!

I was going to go as staff, but sadly I have obligations keeping me here.

Be good to see if there is any announcement on the new Gears, and I'll be interested if Sony does anything on Playstation Now.

I work for a company in the video games industry as 3rd line IT support. Previously I attended Gamescom as on-site IT Support for the consoles on our stand and the staff located across three sites.

So it's fair to say I am affiliated with the industry, rather than "in" the industry. It does help me get free copies of some games though....and a new console now and then.

 

Really looking forward to Gamescom.

Hopefully there will be loads of games on show, can't wait myself to finally see some Quantum Break gameplay.

There's also word that Microsoft has a few big announcements planned, rumour is that there could be word on Microsoft's original plan about the 10 friends/family feature, fingers crossed.

I thought Microsoft had a good show.

Finally we will be able to pre-download games and it looks like it's starting with Forza Horizons 2 ( one of my most anticipated 2014 titles ) so I'm happy.

I thought there was some great looking new titles shown, Scream Ride and Space Engineer ( I believe it was called ) looked really interesting.

Finally got to see some Quantum Break footage, for me this looked absolutely stunning, from what I saw it reminded me of an Alan Wake/Max Payne cross which is no bad thing in my opinion.

Getting back to Forza Horizons 2, as much as I love Forza 5 and can't wait for Project Cars but this looks like just so much fun and looks like something you and mates can have a great laugh on.

To be honest I'd be content for the rest of this year just to get my hands on Horizons 2, Halo MC Collection and Sunset Overdrive but there's just so much more to look forward to in 2014, Ori and the Blind Forest, Assassins Creed, Project Cars, Dragon Age
to name but a few, 2014 is just getting better and better
