gamesave errors (while testing the new Update)

Hello everyone I just have been recently selected to test the new update and my one is having issues because of it. Now my xbox saves nothing every time I load a game I get the initial setup screens, have to change hud size, controls etc. everytime I use
Netflix I have to sign back in to my account. is anyone else having these problems or know how to fix them.

1.8.2 Bug Fix Coming Soon

We probably didn't have to wait long after the 1.8 update came out for this new update, because while Microsoft was doing cert testing on the 1.8 update, they probably found these errors and reported them to the developer. That's why there was another update
and the 1.8 update came out not so long ago

Theyve been in testing for a while. I would have to think the fall update will include them.

Are you talking about the Preview of the new update that select people were invited too? According to majornelson, only the registration app is out and the preview wont be available until next week. Do you already have it?

after testing all day. finally figured it out

while I downloaded the latest update there was an unknown error.

I had to do a "Factory Reset" and redownload the update

Last question, and then I'll let this thread go to thread heaven...

I copy my gamesave over to a flash drive and play on box #2 for a few days. I then copy the new gamesave info from the flash drive back to box #1...

...What happens to any achievements that I had while playing from the flash drive on box #2 (The "extra" box that I don't use as often as the one in the living room)? Do they automatically update on my gamertag once I start playing from the main box again?

Just wondering. Perhaps a reason to favor the HDD method, if your achievements don't update.
