This about games you quit. And are never going back to. Not the games you like but left due the new shooter/xyz coming.

Xmen destiny, The story was interesting but I got tired of some of boss fights. Worse it was birthday present from my wife.

Bioshock Infinite got to second to last chapter and could not win the boss battle on easy. Deleted it.

Batman Arkham Origins. I finished this barely but since the boss battles took away a lot of my gadgets or limited my moment I quit.

Examples of games I going back to. Defiance I generally play it while the show is on.

the reason they have stopped all halo 4 related material is to stop spoilers for the halo 4 game, as it has been leaked there is going to be quite a few banhammers flying around and possibly console bans over the next few days.

 

Destiny would be the most recent for me.

GTA V was another one. I would progress the story a bit, and then just lose all interest. (Never even touched online)

 

The Saboteur. Strange thing about it was I thoroughly enjoyed it! Something came out that I was really interested in amd I just never went back to finish it

 

I'll never say never, but Thief on the Xbox One, I've played maybe 3 hours and just never went back, I do intent to though, haha.

Tony Clancy's End War, is possibly the only game I will never go back and play because I don't own it anymore as I traded it after completing the first mission.

 

i won't say that i'll never go back, but i still have a ton of last gen games that i haven't finished...at some point it's easier to just give up on them, but i'm not quite there yet, even like a year without turning my 360 on. if dishonored 2 gets announced
at E3, i might have to force myself to get back into the first one... or finally get into the last dlc for fallout new vegas.

 

Dead Space - at the moment that I was about to run out oxygen, couldn't find my way out of a room and had five aliens chasing after me, two of which were the regenerating type and wouldn't die and I had just run out of ammo.

Final Fantasy 13 - I was so bored I kept falling asleep with the controller in my hands.

Doom 3 BFG - Ran out of ammo early on and couldn't find anymore. Ended up just pummeling my way through enemies until I lost interest about 5 minutes later.

Dishonored - This was a promising game until there were just a few too many areas I couldn't seem to access and I felt like I was leaving dozens of items behind. Oh and I'm not a very stealthy player, so I was just killing everything that moved which apparently
is frowned upon.

 

Fallout 3. I wanted to give it a chance and see what is so great about it but I just couldn't get into it.

Borderlands. Got to level 20 something before realizing that the game is best played with friends and I've barely any to play with.

Dead Space 2. Sorry, this doesn't have ANYTHING that I LOVED from the original Dead Space. Dropped it at the second chapter.

Those three off the top of my head.

 

Yeah, if you play Borderlands alone, it becomes Bored-erlands.

But Fallout 3? Seriously? I was glued to my screen for at least 300 hours.

 

Nah, I have to say Fallout 3 I played for an hour and dropped it for a whole year until someone convinced me to give it another go and yeah I did end up loving, but *** it felt like a steep learning curve for someone who had never played a Bethesda RPG before,
I just felt so lost for a long time.

Also I know the exact part Bizarro is talking about with Dead Space, I nearly stopped playing at that part too!

 

I guess dead space. just wasn't feeling it.

 

Gears 1. I felt like a cross eyed storm trooper in a sand storm. No thanks. I like dying because I'm bad at a game, not because the crosshairs don't work.

 

Gears of War! ? That is astonishing. The cover and shoot mechanics were fantastic in my opinion.

Yeah, Any game made by Bethesda is awful. They can not reach me for some reason. Fallout is awful never finished it. Oblivion terrible and never finished it. Rogue Warrior was also terrible didn't finish it. Prey was alright, and Skyrim is the undisputed
champion of Most Overrated Game of All Time. (6 voice actors, Really Bethesda?)
