Discus and support Games work on old 360 Elite but crash on new E-series? in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I have 2 xbox 360's.     I have 2 xbox 360's.

    An original 360 elite and the last model made , i believe it is the E-series??

    I have a number of guitar hero and rock band games.

    they all work on the old 360 elite, and all but 2 work on the the new E-series.

    they start loading and fail. it makes no sense to me.

    is there a defect in the E-series that makes it not work with some game disks?

    The newer E series came with a 500 GB HDD. i got it brand new from Microsoft.com.

    no external storage.

    I am thinking there might be a problem with the laser/pickup mechanism/module?

    Which model do you have?

    The 4gig or the 250gig?

    Keep in mind you can use an external hdd but youd want lots of space for thr console to run smoothly

    Elite Series 2 controller not working with my headset?

    We are having the same issue. The headset is working with the old controller but nothing is working with the new Elite Series 2. Very frustrating! WE have also powered down the XBox and reset/unplugged etc.

    Xbox series X controller keeps drifting up

    Unboxed my Series X in October. Stick drift within a month. My Xbox 360 Elite controller still works flawlessly after nearly 15 years.

    The new controllers are garbage.
