    Games won’t Update


    My games will not update and I have no idea what else to try. I’ve tried restarting my Xbox and doing a cold restart. I’ve followed ever instruction given by the online agent guy with no luck. What happens is i select to update my
    games and within 10 seconds I get a message saying “Installation stopped” . This will contine to happen And I cant play fortnite! Any tips!

    Game stats problem

    So I played through all of far cry 5. Now when I go into the game hub it won’t update my stats at all. My kills, takedowns and any other stats on there won’t change. How do I get them updated?

    Installation Stopped

    I just got back from vacation and trying to update a digital game. It has “stopped installation” at 95.9% and won’t download anymore. It says Ready to start and I can play the game fine, but it won’t finish installing the update. I’ve tried numerous attempts
    of hard resetting the Xbox, resetting my router. I have plenty of hardrive space so I not sure what the issue is.

    Hi there, i have hard reset (power cycled) my xbox one multiple times and am still getting the same issue, i have tried it with my 4g broadband, my normal broadband, and my phones hotspot all to no avail.

    Is there anyone at all that can help? It is not letting me download any game or update any game.

    I have tried on internal and external harddrive, i have tried with 3 different internet providers, wired and wireless. I have fully reset my xbox and tried again still nothing.

    When i reset my xbox it did download the microsoft rewards app but then agter that everything else still says installation stopped. I have tried every single guide to try and fix this problem still to no avail.

    i am clueless as to what to do someone please help!

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that the update for Call of Duty is not able to be completed due to a network issue. Are you using a Xbox One, Xbox 360 or Windows 10 computer? If you are using a Xbox One, we suggest

    power cycling     the console by holding down the power button on the console for ten seconds. Also, we have a support article which pertains to

    troubleshooting downloads     that take a long time or do not complete. Be sure to let us know the results!

    Ok im tired of xbox rn, ky game wont even update or download

    i tried restarting my console, pausing and then resuming, stopping then reinstalling, it just wont. No system updates, services are up
    I've noticed that if I just let it sit for a while (sometimes an hour) - the download will eventually start and it will bump up to 40-50% out of no where. Id suggest trying this step. If it doesn't work, might have something to do with the system cache.

    This following step has helped me in the past with some errors I had gotten. Let us know if it works.

    To delete cache, do the following:

    • Press the Guide button on your Xbox controller.
    • Go to Settings
    • Select Devices and Streaming
    • Select Blu-Ray
    • Select Persistent Storage
    • Select Clear Persistent Storage
    • Go back to Settings & under General select
      Network Settings
    • Select Advanced Settings
    • Select Alternate MAC Address
    • Select Clear & then Restart
