Games wont update?

I'm unable to update my video games, iv tried everything, from; power cycling to factory reset, no agent knows how to solve this, does anyone else know how to fix this, it might have to do with the internet. I was told that people
that use Optus have this problem.

Internet down and games wont play

My comcast internet is down today and i didnt know it and i just rented trials fusion and it wont install. Im a little angry but Im like ok whatever, Ill just play one of my other games. I felt like playing watch dogs. So I put in watch dogs and its now trying to install and it cant because no internet connection. What the hell?? The game is already installed on my console, can i not play the game without internet?? Thats a little ridiculous

If you have an erratic internet connection or it is too slow you can turn off the online functionality - what that dies is it allows you to skip the mission. However, if you are not connected to the internet at all then you wouldn't be able to do that.

 

I have the same issue right now, and I use Optus. But I don't think it is their fault. My internet speed is fine on other games.

 

Hey so I actually spent all of yesterday talking to Xbox chat/ phone calls by about 1pm the person asked if who my ISP was (I'm optus and having same updating/installing issues)

She then replied that actually there is a HUGE influx of people all Optus users who are having the EXACT SAME issue.

It IS a problem with Optus that's screwing everybody over - and they have put a ticket in with Optus to try and get them to fix their ****!

 

Ohh and I forgot to say yes you can still play games online - I tested it whilst on the phone with them. The issues is updating and installing that's when your bandwidth usage gets strangled to almost nothing.
