    Games won't update and reinstall doesn't work.


    I have this problem with Outriders and Age of Empires IV. I tried to update them but the update button doesn't do anything. I tried to play Outriders and it started crashing after a few seconds inside the game. I uninstalled Outriders and now I have both the update button and resume install and neither works. I tried reinstalling the Xbox app and it didn't work.

    I have a similar problem following the recent update. Before the update I was able to play the game offline, now it doesn't allow that whatsoever. I have uninstalled/reinstalled and it still won't work. I don't use xbox live so now a 2 month old game is useless!

    I've reinstalled it twice and it doesn't work something in one of the updates has clearly caused the issue and until another update is rolled out I'm guessing there won't be anything I can do.

    Try to uninstall the game and reinstall it. If that doesn't work, make sure you've updated the GPU drivers.
