Games won't run in the background with snapped app

I can't see the game running if I'm in the home screen with an app snapped. It just shows the games logo and the snapped app. Any fix?

I've tried rebooting and holding the power for 10 seconds. But it remains the same

Frustrating Xbox One Bug that Breaks the System.

If you are snapped you could be synced to the snapped application with your controller, rather than the game running in the background. When it freezes are you still snapped?

 

Is the Xbox One able to stream directly to Twitch without a capture card?

Snap the Twitch app and start broadcasting. It'll ask you to make a Twitch account if you don't have one. You can unsnap it if you want and it'll run in the background.

This is on Xbox One. (You're in the 360 section, but now that you're here don't worry about it.)

You're playing a game with an app snapped. You press Home return to the Home screen, but you now only see the game's logo in the main tile with the app snapped?

Let me know if any aspect of that is wrong, even if only slightly.

Which game is this happening with? Could you test a couple to see if they all reproduce the same error? This is a weird one. It works faultlessly doing this on my own console. What is the app you are snapping to the right? It sounds like you are either somehow
quitting the game, or you did not let it start up initially.

Let us know if either of the last two suggestions could be possible, otherwise let us know about all the other things and we can work from there to get towards an answer.

Yes you're exactly right.

It does it for every game I own. Cod ghosts bf4 forza 5 killer instinct killer instinct classic etc...

It does this same error/glitch with any app snapped. But currently using the party snapped

 

It works with apps snapped with apps. Just Not games with snapped apps.
