Games Wont Recognize the Controller is Reconnected (after sleep)

So I leave my Xbox One, and go do something else, long enough that it auto-sleeps. I come back, turn on the Xbox with the voice command "Xbox On" (perhaps I try a few times, as you know). It's on. I'm in the home screen, I go to continue a game which is
still loaded where I left off (Dragon Age, Sunset Overdrive, for sure have this issue), I see "Controller disconnected... Press B" - all games have this message to some flavor. I turn on my controller (blink, blink, blink - the controller light), I press B...
NOTHING! I press all other buttons... NOTHING! I press the home button - it works. I snap, unsnap, I navigate the OS menus. I go back to the game. "Press B". NOTHING!

I turn off the controller, I turn it back on. I take the battery out. I switch controllers and... it works.

The game is installed and starts up fine, but when it wants me to customize my My Player it wont recognize me pushing any buttons...after a while it will go into Demo Mode and still wont recognize me pushing any buttons on my controller

 

Games can't detect the controller

I have a problem with the controller, when I change the batteries or turn on (after minutes of no use), sometimes the games while I'm playing don't recognize the controller but I can go and move me in the Xbox menu and the game stills no respond the controller.

I tried suspend and enter again to the game, but this wont work. The only way is close the game and restart it

 

Have you tried going home---settings and into the device manager to assign your gamertag back to the controller.

What I've noticed is because the new games release this summer all omit the Kinect function of skeletal tracking so the device manager steps are now required.
