    games wont play


    I had troubld being able to play three games call of duty , battlefield and assassins creed they would not play on my xbox one after installing digitally called xbox and they refunded my money but I just want to play the damn games going to take my xbox
    one back get a new one see if it that solves the problem if not think I will just get a ps4 have spent all week just trying to get games to work ridiculous.

    since your last dash bored update my Xbox wont read disks, it just keeps saying (open tray) and iv followed all instructions on how to solve this problem but to no avail. can some one help to explain why and to solve this problem. thank you

    It may be an issue with the hard drive, but if you've used it sucessfully in the past then that may not be your issue. My advice would be to delete the game data completely from your storage device under sytem settings under storage and then management.
    After that clear your system cache using the same method and look for the button prompt. Restart the xbox. Re-download the game, and allow the xbox to download the entire file un-interrupted. After it's complete, power down the xbox and restart it. Give this
    a shot and this maximizes your chances of it being a perfect download and should help to rule out corrupted download as the culprit. Good luck, and I hope this advice is helpful.

    I think some people have had luck by doing a hard shut down on the ONE. If I remember correctly this involves holding the power button for about 10 seconds. You can also unplug the ONE for 30 seconds or so to reset it.
