Games wont play after april preview update...SO MICROSOFT WHERES THE PATCH FOR APRIL

My patience is running thin...I have power cycled my system, cleared persistent storage, removed my account from the xbox one, and factory rested the system. I have gone through every stupid step recommended by support to no avail. The April preview update
has wrecked my disc drive and I'm no longer able to play games on this over $500 dollar paper weight. When can I expect a patch for this???

Xbox One - April Update Issue (View Friends Online)

It may not be the April preview, the last update to the update for the April preview was 1.6g, although I not been on my xbox today so could have come through this morning.

are you in the beta preview program ?

You should really be posting this in the Preview forums, here:

forums.xbox.com/.../default.aspx

There will be continual updates as part of the 1404 (current) wave, up until its release to the public in April.

If you need to report an issue with it, do so in those forums, where the dev team is monitoring threads for such issues.
