    Games won’t install


    The other night I was playing High On Life when suddenly my game crashed, it wouldn’t allow me to reopen it so I decided to restart my xbox one. When I did that I reopen my games to go click on the game to reopen it, I noticed that all of my games that I had installed on my external hard drive were gone so I once again restarted my xbox in doing that they came back but the games kept saying they were corrupted so I cleared the hard drive and I tried reinstalling the games everytime I do they either start downloading a little then I get installation stopped or they won’t even download. I’ve tried to soft reset my xbox as well as many of the other fixes suggested online such as reinstalling them from the app store. I’ve received error code 80080005 a few times as well. Just looking for any help before I go out and buy a new hard drive or xbox

    May I know if you already try cleaning the disc?

    Also, did you try putting on another console to see if happens the same when it reach 33% installation?

    May I know which game is that?

    By the way, did you already try using another Xbox One disc to see if you're able to install that game without no issues on your Series X?

    So when I try to install to the consoles system(internal storage) it works just fine, and yes I have done a factory reset (keep my games and apps). The only reason for my concern is I would just like to know if it’s because my hard drive is shot or if it has something to do with my xbox.
