Game Won't Install

The performance warning you received is normal for external hard drives. The test is a measure of the access time as well as read/writing ability, since hard drives have a slower access speed than flash drives you'll always get this warning.

Do you have any flash drives you could try? Fallout 3 without any additional DLC requires 5.5GB while the GOTY version requires 7.7GB. So you'll need a 8GB flash drive minimum.

If this game or any other won't install to the flash drive and they are not scratched your consoles DVD drive could be faulty.

Game Won't Install

The 360 prompted me to format upon plugging it in. I haven't moved any copies of save files to the drive but so far videos work from it. I tried to download from Zune to it and it didn't ask where I wanted to save the video, but when I moved it to the drive
it worked during playback flawlessly, no lag or freezing experienced. I'm assuming if the video worked that music will as well.

What do you see when it won't install?

Do you get an error message, 0% progress or other?

My game destiny is not installing I tried to restart the console but it still won't install I paid 30 dollars as part of a gold deal, so if I could get a response before the month ends that would be GREAT

Finally got it installing, had to put disc in other way around?

Hey there Aidan!

Sorry for the confusion.

If you had bought it on the Microsoft store through the Xbox, the I would see if the game comes up after following the steps outlined in

Find your games and add-ons on Xbox One. If that does not help, there's also this little trick that I like to do that resolves a bunch of general problems that you may have concerning your console. When you get a chance to goSettings>Disc
& Blu-ray>Blu-ray>Persistent storage and clear it 3 times. After doing that, go to
Settings>Network>Network Settings> Advanced Settings> Alternate MAC address
and clear that alternate MAC. The console will say it needs to restart to apply the change, so let it do that and then try to find the game in the store or in the Ready to install section of my games
and apps.

Run Powershell as an administrator, and copy and paste the following code.

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name Microsoft.WindowsStore | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml" -Verbose}

- Wait for the procedure to finish and at the end type exit, and try to install the game again.
