    Hey. First off I will say my Xbox is a day one Xbox, so it is old. I'll follow it by saying I don't think it's my console.

    So I'm having problems with 2 games, and 2 games only.

    1. Cod aw. I bought cod brand new with my brother. He downloaded after it didn't work for me. I got the Xbox download glitch when you click download online update while downloading regular file. Game has been unusable since I got the glitch.

    2. I downloaded fallout 4 with disc months ago. Played it flawlessly until I deleted for another game. Tried reinstalling, accidentally did same glitch.

    Only problem now is my Xbox doesn't even recognize those discs anymore. Both don't even pop up at all, and both games work on my brothers Xbox.

    I bought a brand new fallout game and it still doesn't register at all. Still says insert disc and hardly even attempts to spin it.

    I highly doubt it's my Xbox considering 1, my gta disc is scratched to crap and a HUGE game and it reads and spins EVERY time. I have 10+ other games, all that read. I've narrowed it down to bring a software glitch that's basically completely blocked those
    2 games from my Xbox. Every other games work, a factory reset did nothing. Trying to download offline, nothing.

    I'm most confused that it doesn't spin the only 2 games that I got the download glitch on. Physically there Is no difference between discs that work and don't, so why would 90% spin 100% of the time but not those 2 games, that I tried multiple discs on?

    Stuck on Installing...

    The game won't let me install. Read this on a few reviews. Super frustrating. Any help?

    Gta V disks not reading

    So i recently erased all data on my HDD and now i put my GTA V install disk in so i can install the content and play... but the install disk won't read even though my disk is perfectly fine. and i tried putting in Disk 2 to see if it would read and it won't
    either... Any suggestions or answers to fix this???

    Can't Play Any Games other than borderlands & L4D2.

    Um Its not my disks that won't read. Its my downloaded games that won't play, and any game that is installed. My downloaded games and installed games register as unreadable disk. Aren't they supposed to read off of the hard drive.

    New games are not recognized, old games load & play fine

    It's most likely hardware related since it won't read new discs. If you have a game installed and use it's disc it will work 99% of the time but if you buy a new game and it won't read the disc it is hardware related.

    Try doing a power cycle on your console or uninstalling and reinstalling the episode.

    Hi

    It could be the reason why you are having issues downloading the content. Try downloading from the

    My Games & Apps     area of the dashboard and see if you can download that way.

    If this don’t work, you may want to wait and try again later/tomorrow.

    Bit of help please

    It won't make any difference mate, it'll just read the games from disc as though they're not installed, but you do need to delete them from the HDD to re-install them again.
