    Ever since the march x-box one update, I am having trouble getting games and DLC to install and update. it will go up to a percentage then stop and won't finish it. I've tried the hard reset that works half the time, if at all. I'm really getting sick of
    it. Microsoft please fix this in the next update. I did pay good money for the games, I'd like to be able to play them.

    games won't finish installing or updating?

    i had this issue as well. installs would get to 99% and stop. Mine also would not pause that download and start another either. Another problem was I could not move anything installed internally to my external drive or vice versa or uninstall anything.

    Games come with the minimum required firmware included on the disc. If your console won't install the update then you're finished using the console.

    Quick question

    Hi there, you can most certainly select to install the update while the game itself is still installing, I believe what happens though is it will immediately start the download of the update and stop installing from the disc so sometimes to make it a faster
    process, installing the game while offline and then the updates after the game is finished installing offline will be the fastest way to get gaming.

    Though to answer your questions, it won't stuff anything up installing the update while the game is still installing, might just make it a little slower.

    Installment problems

    Sorry to hear it. Odds are that updates for the game are interfering with the install. Please try taking the console offline for the install and then reconnect it when the install is finished to get the updates for the game.

    Updates for games stop at 99%

    If installing updates for a disc game you will need to insert the disc for it to finish the update.
