Games won't download on Xbox game pass PC application.

I have followed your instructions to the letter, but unfortunately the problem persists.

I got an update from Gaming Services, and since then when I want to install a game from GamePass PC or Windows Store, the download stalls at 0% with the Visual C++ 2015 UWP Desktop Runtime Package telling me if be installed on each installation attempt.

I also reinstalled the Xbox application, deleted the Gaming Service and reinstalled it, unchecked the ipv6 of my network... all without success. I've already reinstall Visual C++ 2015, without success too .

I've never had a problem in over 4 years of Gamepass.

My Windows 11 is up to date. Can you help me ?

Did you find a solution? I am having the same problem. I contacted xbox support and they concluded I have a corrupted windows file. I did all the repairs I could without a system reset and still no joy. Im not willing to do a reset for just this 1 app!

For me, I came to the following conclusion:

- I spent more than 6 hours doing research and various and varied manipulations to try to unlock this Gamepass application problem, without success.

- All the answers from Microsoft found on the internet referred to a complete reinstallation of the system ... basically no solution to their unstable application problem.

So I made the decision to do a complete reinstall of my system. With my internet connection, it only took me 2 hours in all and for all (thanks to the fiber optic internet and the SSDs).

Morality, as long as Microsoft has not developed an application that does not corrupt itself (you are not responsible, it does it all by itself during its own random updates), the time wasting ratio and headache is more favorable towards a system reinstallation at the present time. At least as far as I'm concerned, even though my system and PC was only 6 months old.

Good evening

Clear the cache of the Xbox Game Pass app, press the "Windows + R" keys and type in "%localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.GamingApp_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache". This will take you to the Xbox Game Pass cache folder. Delete all the files in the folder.

Reset the Xbox Game Pass app, go to the Start menu, find the Xbox Game Pass app, right-click it, and select "App settings." Scroll down and click on the "Reset" button to reset the app to its default settings.
