Games won't download on my pc from xbox app

None of the games that I try to download on my pc are fully downloading. They will get to about halfway depending on the game and then show the error message 0x80070005,but then proceeds on its own to try to retry the download and just gets stuck in that loop.

Hello everyone,

I have a lot of issues with the Xbox App lately. Every time I restart my PC the app is broken, it won't launch unless I reinstall it. The problem is that if I was downloading a game before reinstalling the app, the game won't launch when finished downloading.

You can add to that various crashs with other game store apps since the last Windows 10 update and freezes during a restart of the PC.

Is there anybody with the same problems ?

Your screenshot looks like it is from a mobile device. You need to download it to a PC or Xbox. The phone won't give you the option to download since it is not a mobile app.

Do you have the EA Play app installed on your PC, and the extension turned on, in the Xbox app settings? Make sure you have these, otherwise, you won't be able to download and install the games from EA Play. Same also applies for Ubisoft games too. You need the Ubisoft Connect app installed to install any Ubisoft game from the Xbox app.
