    Games won't download from Xbox PC app or Microsoft Store


    I've done every fix I could find to fix this:

    Reset and Repair Xbox app/Microsoft Store/Gaming Services

    Remove Gaming Services via Powershell

    Remove Microsoft Store via Powershell

    I have the latest Windows update, because I have done 3 fresh installs from Windows Media Creation Tool thinking that will fix this

    Everything I do always ends with the same error, 0x00000001. I don't know why all of a sudden this became a problem. Just a couple months ago I was using the app and now it's doing this.

    Apps not working after latest update

    Another update, while my IP won't be out here until Thursday, I had a PC update and now my Microsoft Store won't download apps there either. So it seems to be the Microsoft Store on both Xbox and PC.

    You stated you have the game for the console, but have you purchased it for the PC? If not, you can purchase the game from the Microsoft Store app. Minecraft is not Play Anywhere, so you won't be able to download it on the PC just for owning it on the console.

    Unfortunately, none of the new solutions you provided worked. Frankly, I don't believe game pass is worth backing up and restoring every single file on my pc. Thanks for the help, anyways.
