@BloodFrenzy They never said that. Heck when it started on 360 people were hoping it would extend to XB1 so I don't know how that's a selling point for XB1.

They did say after the release of XB1 that it was coming to XB1 with details in 2014. Either you are misconstruing the last part or you had some bad info.

I've had people call me arrogant in the past because I do act like I know everything from time to time and although I don't know everything, I do still know a lot and try to approach things from a practical standpoint whenever I can - I've become significantly
more humble and careful with things I say over the past few months due to past transgressions with other posters as well.

As for how much I game, it has indeed come to a point where I'm on the forums more than I game, but I do still use my Xbox consoles to play games and do other things - at least 3 hours a day if I were to put a number to it, which is a lot considering all
of the other things I make time for in my life.

Regardless of what you or anyone else thinks of me, I'm here because I enjoy it and the people I socialize with (most of the time). I also enjoy helping others whenever and wherever I can. If I end up being wrong about something, I accept that and move on
(which I admit I didn't often do in the past) rather than holding a grudge - after all, those are the worst things to have.

 

They actually stated it was supposed to end in December but they decided it was a good program and continued it.

As for keeping quiet about a program on a new system that they were in no position to start, yeah they should have kept it to themselves. And nobody expected $120 worth of games a month just maybe XBLA BC so we could take advantage of the program as well.
I'm not stupid I realize that they don't have a strong stable of new XB1 arcade games so can't give out anything. And as for PSN I keep quiet about it because I don't own a playstation at the moment so have no clue what they're doing.

 

It took about 90 seconds to Google "what free PS Plus games on PS4". XBLA titles likely have to be redeveloped for the Xbox One as well unless Microsoft intends to use it's Cloud to stream it but why would they for XBLA titles when Microsoft already confirmed
they weren't going to with full release titles.

@ Burst Axe actually games with gold for the XB1 was announced before console launch. Go do a google search of games with gold xbox one dates are listed on most articles about it.

 

Like I said I have no interest in Sony because I don't own one and have no clue how they do things. I understand what you are saying though as I said in a previous post before this one. As far as no XBLA titles for the XB1it still seems like a bad call
leaving out BC for them. Why would you not want to be able to use the games you payer for last gen while waiting for a new influx of next gen games without having two systems?

 

@BloodFrenzy You're right. It was announced 8 days before X1 launched that it would to be coming to Xbox One with details in 2014. In no way shape or form does that mean games for gold was a selling point for X1. Maybe in the year of 2014 it could be but
the “details" part could also mean its coming in 2015 or later. There is no solid date for games for gold on X1.

 

If it influences anyone to buy the XB1 its a selling point. And how do you know it didn't?

 

Well then, IF details are coming in 2014, how can it be a selling point for someone to buy it before 2014? Oh sorry, I forget what consumerism has turned people into. Stating "coming in 2014" MUST without a doubt mean "releasing and available January 1st,
2014", right? That if a consumer construes it to be the VERY first day (let alone month) of the year, that the corporation has a LEGAL obligation to bend over to whatever assumption the consumer creates in their mind.

You're actually kind of making my point for me if you think about it because if people are such entitled consumers why would you want to announce games with gold early and risk tons of people being angry they can't have it now? And I don't really think anyone
expected games this fast they just would like to hear Microsoft say somthing on the subject about when things can be expected to start up.

Lol. Another Millenial? If you had done your research b4 buying or even starting this post, you would find nothing stating that GFG on X1 will be arriving. The only thing you would find are statements from those like major nelson stating that it will be
coming to the X1, details will be "announced" in 2014. If you took that as an ironclad promise that it would be here by now and based some or all of your purchase on that "selling point" as you say, that's your fault. Be a more knowledgeable consumer. Sorry

If Microsoft uses games for gold as a selling point then so ares only with playstation plus. Major Nelson already said ur get one triple A game a month and one indie. I wouldmt mind Lego marvels as I never brought it or a game I have so I can sell my game.
Also the indie I wouldn't mind warframe
