Games with Gold

Why is it that I am unable to download Xbox 360 backwards compatible games "free with gold" on my Xbox One console, even though I can install the Xbox one games and my gold is up to date expires 3/16/2019.

do you have a payment option linked to your account? you need that to download 360 games.

 

For 360 games on xbox one you need a credit card/paypal to be able to install them. Do have a credit card associated to your account?

Again incase it was not clear before I have a payment instrument on file and I've been able to download 360games in the past.

 

Also I have already contact support @ xbox.com/contactus and not a single person was able to help

Sorry for the issue with games with gold specifically the backward compatible ones. This is a known issue for some people are unable to get them. It happens seldom and not for lots just handfuls it seems here and there. Can you please try on the website
and see if you are able to send it to your console. You can try update your billing information (the address you billed to) and see if that helps.

What error message does it say when you try to claim the game via the web, for example? If it says "Install on Xbox 360", you would still click on that to add it to your Microsoft account.

 

Facepalm I've tried the website check to post above. I suppose ill take your half witted response that its a known issue since you lack the information to properly address the issue.

 

With all due respect to your frustration, such a response is uncalled for. The people here are trying to help you.
