just saw the games coming for October, and what a disappointment it was with Halloween coming up and all the possible games in the horror genre that could have been selected, dead by daylight, alien isolation plenty of good choices. and you put stuntman
and overcooked on the list? do you even care as to what you're putting on the list or do you have a team sifting through games no one wants and tossing them on the list? because I've noticed in the almost 11 years I've had my account since games with gold
started the lists of games has gotten worse and worse as time has gone by. not just because they are games I don't personally like, but because the games on the list have been the cheapest bottom of the barrel games, games that if they had a cost no one would
bother to play simply because they aren't worth their price. so come on Xbox put a decent game on there. put at least one game fitting the Halloween season up

I've had people call me arrogant in the past because I do act like I know everything from time to time and although I don't know everything, I do still know a lot and try to approach things from a practical standpoint whenever I can - I've become significantly
more humble and careful with things I say over the past few months due to past transgressions with other posters as well.

As for how much I game, it has indeed come to a point where I'm on the forums more than I game, but I do still use my Xbox consoles to play games and do other things - at least 3 hours a day if I were to put a number to it, which is a lot considering all
of the other things I make time for in my life.

Regardless of what you or anyone else thinks of me, I'm here because I enjoy it and the people I socialize with (most of the time). I also enjoy helping others whenever and wherever I can. If I end up being wrong about something, I accept that and move on
(which I admit I didn't often do in the past) rather than holding a grudge - after all, those are the worst things to have.

 

I believe the developers have a say in what is released as well.

But they did miss out on the Halloween month. Dead by Daylight would have been a good one.

 

I agree, its tough when you have such a easy setup like this.

I bet what you'll see is a Halloween themed sale week. With everyone in the mood/spirit its actually a chance for those companies to get more sales than the rest of the year.

 

Yeah, there's usually horror game sales around Halloween but this wouldve been cool too. Maybe submit it to Xbox Ideas for next year

True. They definitely should put games matching the current events going on.

 

Even if the game was an older Xbox title is be happy. Those little nods show they care about the community. And it's especially disappointing for me. As my birthday is on Halloween

 

It does seem like a bit of a missed opportunity. I would have loved a Resident Evil title.

 

Agreed on having a game or two fit the monthly theme. Victor Vran isn’t too bad a Diablo type of game and I’m always down for some Hitman.

 

That's pretty much up to the developers on what they will put out in Games with Gold.
