Games with Gold

This is my first time trying to get a free game with my new Gold membership. I used a 30 day membership code that I won from a contest.

When I go to the marketplace on xbox.com for Viva Pinata:TIP it says "Gold Exclusive Price FREE" but then right under it says $14.99 Download to Xbox 360. I don't want to be charged... so is this free or not??

Note: This game shows free on my Xbox 360, but I want to download online because I do not have enough space on my console currently and will be picking up a USB drive in a few days.

I've had people call me arrogant in the past because I do act like I know everything from time to time and although I don't know everything, I do still know a lot and try to approach things from a practical standpoint whenever I can - I've become significantly
more humble and careful with things I say over the past few months due to past transgressions with other posters as well.

As for how much I game, it has indeed come to a point where I'm on the forums more than I game, but I do still use my Xbox consoles to play games and do other things - at least 3 hours a day if I were to put a number to it, which is a lot considering all
of the other things I make time for in my life.

Regardless of what you or anyone else thinks of me, I'm here because I enjoy it and the people I socialize with (most of the time). I also enjoy helping others whenever and wherever I can. If I end up being wrong about something, I accept that and move on
(which I admit I didn't often do in the past) rather than holding a grudge - after all, those are the worst things to have.

You must also live. In the account region of. Your account or it won't work

You must queue it using the console otherwise

Okay.. So I clicked Download to Xbox360 on the game page (Viva Piñata: TIP is the free game). It says in my account that I can add it to my download queue. I checked my credit card I used and it says I am charged $1. Why did I get charged??

Yes, I do live in my account region.

 

If you have just added the card then that will be a charge to confirm that it is real and valid. The money should be refunded to you.
