who is choosing these god awful games each month... $750 in games free each year.. Yeah $750 worth of garbage.

Whoever is choosing these games and addons need to be fired.

Nobody I know on Xbox even checks out the games with gold anymore because they say it's never anything worth having

I've had people call me arrogant in the past because I do act like I know everything from time to time and although I don't know everything, I do still know a lot and try to approach things from a practical standpoint whenever I can - I've become significantly
more humble and careful with things I say over the past few months due to past transgressions with other posters as well.

As for how much I game, it has indeed come to a point where I'm on the forums more than I game, but I do still use my Xbox consoles to play games and do other things - at least 3 hours a day if I were to put a number to it, which is a lot considering all
of the other things I make time for in my life.

Regardless of what you or anyone else thinks of me, I'm here because I enjoy it and the people I socialize with (most of the time). I also enjoy helping others whenever and wherever I can. If I end up being wrong about something, I accept that and move on
(which I admit I didn't often do in the past) rather than holding a grudge - after all, those are the worst things to have.

 

I've got a lot of good games at no extra charge. No complaints here. Not all games will be good. It's a pity you feel that way.

I get offered 4 FREE games per month.Granted I have most of the ones being offered but so what,it's just a bonus anyway.

If you don't like them don't download them,there's millions of others on live who are happy with GWG.

Out of curiosity,what games would you deem ok then ?

 

I think I was paying for a gold subscription for 6 years before we got free games with it so I'm still pretty stoked about this feature, even if I've only played like 3 of the games it has also given me digital version of games I already own as well.

 

Every now and then there's a good game. Not often, but occasionally.

I downloaded Tron: Evolution last month. It's a fun easy game. Granted it's pretty repetitive and linear, but also short. Needless to say, if I paid for it I'd be upset, but since I got it for free I'm not really gonna complain.

Mostly I downloaded it because I'm a fan of Tron: Legacy and Tron: Uprising and I wanted to see what it added to the story. One minute CLU is an ally of Kevin Flynn, the next minute his white/blue glow is orange and tries to kill him like they showed in
Tron: Legacy. I was hoping there'd be some kind of gradual transition and character development with CLU. Tron's hardly in the game. Unfortunately Tron: Uprising ended before they could show when and how Tron transformed into Rinzler.

 

Ah, come on. Some of them have been good. I played the hell out of the below games.

Defense Grid 2

Granted, most the games have been pretty poor. There have been a couple of aces though.

I tought the Banner saga 2 was a good game, and getting it for free was even better.

 

No argument here for bonus free games. I wish I would had held off a bit longer on WWE2K16 as that's a sweet freebie. I'll run out of memory before ever getting old of free games.

You pay € 59,99 for a years worth of live gold and the crap they give you with these free games is not worth the 60 bucks...indeed, who comes up with this crap...

give us some good games instead of the crap they give out lately..

You do realise that GWG are just a bonus of having a gold membership?

You'd soon be moaning if they stopped doing it.

It's pretty simple,if you don't want any of the games on offer then don't download them.

There have been some great games so far & some that didn't interest me at all.Doesn't mean they are crap.

Who pays full price for gold anyway? Only ever paid full price for gold once & that was in 2003.

Places like cdkeys have some great deals on a years gold.

 

I've been pleased. Sure not all are winners but I've enjoyed titles that I wouldn't normally buy. Wolf Among Us, Walking Dead, Borderlands, Tron, Bioshock Infinite, Defense Grid 1 & 2, to name some. I do get it though, some gwg seem to be stinkers.
