Whats the source for saying Max and Spartan Assult will be first free games on X1?

Jordz that's the problem, I want this game now but f I can save a few quids and get it free, I will. If these games are not announced for July then I will just buy them but I think they may be

Games with gold has now started on Xbox One, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood is now free on the marketplace, I can't check if Halo has been added also as I've already bought that.

Yeah, both are now free. Confirmed by Major Nelson among others (after many people had found out anyway...).

 

Anybody having any problems downloading them ? I have downloaded both and they get to 100% then just say installation stopped?

 

Was just over on the main forums Deezee and a few are reporting the same, I'm stuck ay work so can't check myself sorry.

For now, at least they know about it and are working on resolving the issue.
