Hello. When I try to get games (usually xbox 360 games) from "games with gold"I get the message "Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again.". I can't get Mirro's Edge. I had this problem with Deus ex and gears of war 2 before. I looked
for some information in the forum and it looks like the only way to solve this problem is by contacting xbox one support. Can anyone help me? Do you know if I can get the other games from past months?

Its impossible to ger Burnout Paradise at Games with Gold and the message appers: "Sorry. Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again."

Is there any sort of error message shown?

Do you also have a credit card registered on file? That's basically a technical requirement in "purchasing" Xbox 360 games, especially if they're free on Games with Gold.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to get any GWG game offered for free from the past months. Promotional deadlines are strictly carried out in the store. If you missed it, you missed it.

Hi, thank you for your reply. I will try to answer your questions.

1- No there is no error message. The only thing I get is what I said before.

2- Yes I have a credit card registered. Actually, I tried to use another one and I got the same result.

3- Yes, I was just wondering if there was anything I could do about the games I lost. But I don't want to keep losing the games I want because of this problem.

I don't have this problem all the time. Last month I was able to claim both xbox one and 360 games from GWG. I just click on "purshase" and the GWG page redirect me to the purchase screen. I choose my credit card and click to finish the transaction. Usually
everything works fine and I get the game on my xbox one. But sometimes, when I try to finish the transaction, I receive this message saying it could not be completed, with no error code or anything else.

This time when I try to get Mirror's Edge I am receiving this message. I had this problem 2 times this year and I have no idea why it only happens to some games and not to others.

I just got the exact same "error" myself also with Mirror's Edge from Games with Gold. I can't even get it on Xbox.com

Be sure that the region of your account matches your physical location. Often times, cross-region accounts can interfere with purchases such as this. Unfortunately cross-region accounts aren't supported. Let us know if you have an account that matches your
locale.

Thank you for your answer Mister Maka. I am Brazilian, and I live in Brazil but I got my xbox one when I was living in there. I lived in NY for 2 years and came back last year. When I came back I hanged my credit card to a local one and my location on my
xbox one configurations as well. Also, as I said, this problem does not happen all the time. Do you think that it could still be the problem? If the answer is yes, how can I move my account to Brazil?

Same problem here, cannot download Dirt. I don't want to try the "region change" (even if I think all is set to UK for me) because I have a Music pass and it says explicitly that it will get cancelled.

I have that error too. MS support told me to delete my profile on the X1 and redo it. Problem did not go and I already missed Dungeon Siege and Operation Flashpoint. Now I cannot get Dirt which is weird really, because some games I get, some others get the
purchase error.

Everything in my account seems to be set to the UK (Billing Address and Payments). I am not aware what DRmozr meant when he said registration. Is that gamertag registration? I clicked the link DRmozr provided and changed to UK as suggested but it said I
cannot change reason either, presumably because I am already set to the UK. Is there a way I can check where my Gamertag is currently set?

Also Onyx62is said it was a glitch on the 17th of Dec. No mate, you're wrong, I have been having since backward compatibility was launched. Happens only with some Xbox 360 games and happens from both the X1 and the website (accessed from my PC).

I doubt if MS have any solution to this. Pity they don't monitor the forums either because otherwise someone from their side might provide a solution.

Ok, first off your account is showing as Silver. You cannot take advantage of the GwG games if you do not have an active Gold membership (trial codes are not included).

Also, if you are getting directed towards a US gateway then your gamertag may be set to US as the region. You would need to migrate your tag back to the UK.

HI. The issues is occuring with me as well for both Sacred 3, and Operation Flashpoint.

I am in the UK and can see them 'free with GWG', and it seems to want to force you toward a US payment gateway, then says 'Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again'.

Please fix this before the free games expire (operation flashpoint in particular).

It is odd that you were able to download those two games on the One with a trial membership. It's not supposed to work that way.

I do want to mention though that you will lose access to those games (if you are playing them now) when that trial runs out unless you are sharing a Gold membership with another gamertag on the Xbox One.
