    The One store does not see the Microsoft account balance as being a valid payment option for 360 content. So a credit card or Paypal is required to be on file for 360 content, even if it's free, when you make a purchase from the One or website. To make
    a purchase without a credit card or Paypal, the purchase would have to be made on a 360.

    Hi, it's the way the Xbox 360 marketplace works, you must have a valid payment option on your account to download those free games with gold as crazy as that seems it's just how it is.

    The marketplace for bc games run under an emulator that uses the same rules as the old marketplace so you need a valid method of payment (like credit card) to make that purchase

    'Games with gold' is not on the front page of Xbox 360

    If anyone has Xbox 360 and see the 'games with gold' hyperlink on front page then please share a photo.

    Note do not confuse what was there 2 years ago, today 'games with gold' is not on front page on Xbox 360

    Cannot purchase "free" 360 games on Xbox one or Xbox.com

    It has always been like that not unless there will be an update regarding in redeeming Xbox 360 games with gold on the website. Xbox 360 marketplace has a different structure than on Xbox One Store. Xbox 360 games with gold on the website will need a payment
    method. In Xbox 360 console, you won't need one. Currently, you can't redeem Xbox 360 games with gold using Xbox One console and still under progress about redeeming Xbox 360 games with gold on Xbox One console. Either get the games using an Xbox 360 console,
    or get the games on the website with a payment method.

    You aren't a gold member you are silver or free if you are part of home gold only the account with the gold can queue xbox 360 games with gold games or as home gold doesn't carry over to xbox 360
