I meant to add this to my last post but I would wager good money thate the lack of indie titles so far has to do with the parity clause.

yet again XB1 games with gold poor compared to the XB360! when is the XB1 going to have some proper games for "Games with Gold"

Good is just an opinion....

But i didn't buy a $500 device just to be able to play an hundred indie titles....

Xbox one will have more indie titles (like the 360),but it takes time and it's not the main focus on Xbox.

 

Randver some of us aren't interested in indie titles. It's all you seem to go on about. By the sounds of it that's all ps+ is offering, which to me has absolutely no value. I'm guessing you probably love B grade movies aswell because it's just so hip to
be into that. It's like everyone goes on about resogun on the ps4. No offense but I stopped playing side scrolling space shooters on my sega megadrive. But hey if that's what your into the more power to you mate. Indie seriously has no appeal to me whatsoever.

 

^^Thats the opinion of a few of my friends. I could just imagine if the roles were reversed and Xbox had a bunch of indie games and Sony had a bunch of AAA exclusives how much hate MS would get for it.

Apparently most of the Xbox community shares your view and I think it's going to hurt the Xbox in the long run.

Indie games aren't a genre it simply means that it's being developed without financial backing from big publishers or in the case of the PC it's us that's providing the financial backing.

Do me a favor Dufful...I'm currently playing 4 indie games on a regular basis...Day Z, Rust, Insurgency and Space Engineers. Look at those games and tell what doesn't appeal to you and I mean this in all seriousness.

I think a lot of people here have a preconceived notion of what an indie game is (they are all side scrollers, platformers, etc which I still love and play) and don't know what's out there.

 

I didn't care that much for indie games until Outlast and Minecraft came along. Why put a limitation on creativity?

 

Rust doesn't appeal to me. Never heard of the other 2, but Day Z is one indie game that I cant wait for a console version. But with that said that is one out of many that have caught my eye.

I think the term indie just confuses some people as to the quality. I would make the quality comparison to XBL arcade titles. These are not the kinda indie games some xbox users remember on the 360 for a 1$.

 

they already said they want DayZ on xbox one and i didnt think minecraft was a indie as u can buy the full version on disc???? also reason ms aint got many indies is because they are more into triple AAA games then indies

 

Ghostz, seems to be a decent conversation going on about indie games right now. Your over-sensitivity about ps4 "trolls" is really starting to wear thin. Just relax, okay? lol

Just want to add Day z is PC only right now and is a very good indie game I have the standalone version on PC. I do hope this game comes to ps4 and x1. My point is right now I dont like any of the indie games on ps4. Its not to say something like day z
won't come and appeal to me.
