Games with Gold unpurchasing issue

I downloaded both Saint Row IV and WWE 2k16 when they were free for download with gwg. However, now when I try to launch them, I get the error saying that I didn't purchase it. I was able to play both of these games well after they were free, and I am
the only account who uses my xbox. So what's the go with that Microsoft?

You should also check your account page to determine if you did correctly purchase these items, and also ensure that your gold sub is active.

Verify that you are on the correct account that downloaded the game initially. You can also go to https://support.xbox.com if you have tried all of the other suggestions.

Is your Xbox Live Gold subscription still active? In order to keep on playing past games with gold, you will have to have an active Gold subscription.

Was it your account that downloaded the games? Are you designated as the home Xbox? have you tried power cycling the console to refresh things?

Hey Jackson Rose,

Thank you for reaching out. If you haven't already, try reinstalling the game by doing the following:

From Home, select My games & apps, and then select
See all.
When you’ve highlighted something to uninstall, press the Menu button on your controller.
Select Manage game & add-ons, then Uninstall all.

After uninstalling the games, it should allow you to redownload them, otherwise try contacting
support to make sure you still have the licenses to the games.
