Games with gold unplayable

yknow. When I claimed Thief on games with gold, I was under the impression that I fully owned the game, no strings attached. I was not told otherwise. Microsoft did not let me know in any way, shape, or form, that I would only be able to play this game if
I have gold membership. Which wouldn't be a problem, but see, this is where my complaint comes in.

due to internet issues over the past few days, I had to delay my installation. First time I tried to install, it got straight up stuck at 99 percent. Had to start it over. I have been struggling to get this free game on my Xbox for 4 days. My xbox live ran
out a couple days ago. And when I FINALLY get it? I went through all of that just to get the "you can't play this game" error when I launched it. I apologize for my language, but that is some straight up ***, Microsoft. Why am I posting this on the support
forums? Well after what I went through (Have you ever downloaded a game digitally on Internet that peaks at 2mb/s? Not fun.) I honestly believe that I'm owed something. i want to again add that I WAS NOT told I would need live to play my game.

Games with gold unplayable

I have several games that I have downloaded from games with gold that say that I do not have permission to play or if I do I must go to Xbox store or something. I have a gold membership and have had one for the last 10+ years so this is not the reason it
won’t let me play. I believe these may be Xbox 360 games that are backwards compatible and are downloaded to my Xbox one. I also think that I downloaded them when they were available but just never opened them up until now which may be 6 months to a year later.
I should still have access to them shouldn’t I? I don’t understand why they won’t let me play them. Can anyone help? Thanks.

 

Multiplayer is broken... For returning/new players.

I sincerely wish I had your problem. Every game I random matchmake with on gold is filled with players sitting outside our base dying repeatedly, afking, and flat out leaving the game.

The game is unplayable with randoms, period.

 

Hey there. Sorry you misunderstood the offer, but the terms of the offer are on display. On the Games with Gold page (www.xbox.com/.../games-with-gold) at the bottom, it reads
as this:

"Games with Gold offer for paid Gold members only; active Gold membership required to play downloaded Xbox One games."

Xbox 360 games downloaded through Games with Gold are yours to keep. Should you re-subscribe to Xbox Live, your Games with Gold on the Xbox One will become available to play again.

yeah, i apologize then, and i'll actually read the next deal like that. wave a free game in front of my face, and i tend to *** it without question and expect everything to work out, i suppose. i just got a little frustrated, since i've had more constant
problems than fun since i got my xbox last christmas. its starting to get a little old, so again, i apologize
