Games With Gold "TRASH"

dear Microsoft your free games with gold are **** bull **** as if a toddler could buy a console and appreciate the coloring book style of TRASH games you give out I'm so over it, in two weeks the next run of games comes out and either I'm downloading
a game worth playing for a change or I'm selling this piece of **** paper weight. Thanks for ripping us all off again and again. Your truly,

Games with Gold = Trash

During September of last year, I had got Watch Dogs during the Free Games with Gold promotion that Xbox has. I had never fully downloaded the game until yesterday, and I wanted to try the game out today. I have an error code telling me that I need an Xbox
Gold Subscription to play the game. Thing is, I have gold. Can somebody help?

Why does Microsoft constantly give us trash free with gold games. PlayStation gives their Ps Plus subscribers. Great games month after month. Microsoft on the other hand is just like just give them whatever it doesn’t matter

Who the **** buys a console just for the Games with Gold? You do realise the GWG is just a bonus for having a gold membership right?

And just because you think they are trash doesn't mean everyone else does or should Microsoft ask you every month what games they should offer just to make you happy?

There have been some brilliant games offered,in fact Star Wars TFU is one of them this month which is a great game.

There have been plenty of games I haven't liked but I appreciate them being offered & the fact that others will like them.

 

@ OP, The proper term is GARBAGE WITH GOLD. With that said, Daft has it 100% correct when he says if you're buying gold for the GWG selections you're kwazy! Ok, I worded it my way but Daft pretty much says that. Kinda... lol

 

They're free games, usually indie or older stuff. Give them a chance! Or don't.

I hope you aren't expecting AAA titles on GWG.

Only thing the op forgot was the usual"i'm going to PlayStation" whine.

 

For me I this month is not great as I already own some of the games but I will accept that's just how it is. I think this saying below is very relevant to GWG in general.

You can please some of the people all of the time,

you can please all of the people some of the time,

but you can’t please all of the people all of the time

 

While I agree the whining is beyond stupid, the games are not free. They are part of a paid subscription.

 

You think the free games are bad?

I also own a ps4 as well and trust me ps4 owners look at games with gold with envy. The free ps4 games are usually cack and the free ps3 games wont even work on the ps4

There have been some excellent games with gold. Mostly 360 games but at least they work on xbox one.

 

The 360 games you get are free though. They keep working even if your gold expires.

 

You pay for your xbox live gold subscription in order to access multiplayer features & xbox live etc,thats what a gold sub has always been.

Now though there is an added bonus that while you have an active gold subscription you get to download 4 games per month,you are not charged for those game so they are free.

You are paying for a xbox live gold sub,not the games that come with games (garbage) with gold,they aren't part of having a gold sub,they are just a bonus to having one.

 

You're paying for the subscription. Perhaps YOU are only paying for multi-player access, but that does not mean everyone is. Different strokes for different folks. The last couple of times I bought a month of gold, it was strictly because I was interested
in the games.

The games are part of the subscription based service. The service is not free, therefore neither are the games. If they were free, then I could download them without having to pay for a subscription. If you want to call them "free" then you need an astrix
after the word.

As far as i'm concerned they are free.

When I click on them to download them the price shows as free,i am not charged any money so they are free.

They are a bonus for my gold subscription.

I get your point,if you purposely buy gold just for the GWG then you could say they aren't free.

I've always had a gold sub since 2003 so to me they are just a added bonus & are free games.
