    Hi, I have redeemed a code for xbox live gold 12+1 - the code is accepted and i can sign in to xbl, my subscription status states i have gold subscription but, i can't get the free gwg games, when i click the GWG tile it asks me to renew and gives me prices
    etc (both on console and pc) I have checked all region settings etc match up, i have a valid card payment linked and i have tested xbox live connection - successfully and restored gamertag.. Is there anything else i can do as i can't access the free GWG? -

    Microsoft giving free digital games for users with broken disc drives

    I was just told this while chatting with an MS rep about a separate issue: "Every console sent in for repair will have a free 30 day Xbox Live Gold subscription after the repair. However for those with disc unreadable issue, on top of the free 30 day Xbox Live Gold subscription, they'll receive a free game token." They will email the code after the replacement XBox has shipped.

    Missed out on Sunset Overdrive (Games with Gold) due to not being able to activate Xbox Live Gold subscription

    14day trials don't work with games with gold and would cause issues with gold subscriptions as they cannot be stacked on trials

    Are you using a gold trial or a full gold subscription? 360 games can only be downloaded for free with a full subscription.
    I have a full gold subscription - Brave was the 360 game this month and I had no issues downloading that one.

    Seems like the issue is not regarding to your game edition it is due to your subscription. The game requires Xbox Live Gold subscription to play it. It’s either you will purchase Xbox Live Gold subscription or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate since the Ultimate included Xbox Live Gold as well.

    My microsoft account (or any) dosen't let me play realms, servers or multiplayer even though my settings are all allow, redid them and logged out and in a few times

    It's because you need an Xbox Live Gold subscription to play the game, YuhanLK. Once you purchase an Xbox Live Gold subscription you should be able to play the game without any issues.

    Try changing the payment option if you haven't done it already and see if that fix the issue. Like others said, you cannot claim any Games with Gold games if you're on a trial gold subscription and/or gold is being shared to you. The person with a paid
    gold subscription can claim the games for free.
