Games with Gold question

Hello, my first post here.

I am a recent member to the Xbox universe and I have recently signed up for the Xbox Rewards. However, it was my father who purchased a Xbox Live Gold membership when the Xbox One was purchased on launch. Since I have Xbox Rewards, I am thinking of purchasing
a Xbox Live Gold membership.

My question is, what will happen to the free games with Gold that my father has tied to his account? Can I play them with my Xbox Live Gold membership? Sort of a transfer from his account to mine. The games are installed on the same Xbox One. Right now,
my father is sharing Gold with the whole system. I already have 1,250 points and I have recently pre-ordered Halo Collection, so making my father create a Xbox Rewards would mean I basically throw away these 1,250 away.

Hopefully someone can help me clarify this issue.

So I downloaded dead rising 2 as a games with gold game,and I wanna delete it,but problem is. Will the game be free again like deleted content?

The transaction in question may regard the xbox 360 games with bc purchased for xbox one. In that case a purchase of 0,00$ will be registered.

 

Little correction, I have 250 points and not 1,250. I obtained these 250 points from a survey completed a few months ago. Is it true I will receive reward points for pre-ordering Halo? If yes, how long does it take for the points to be added?

With xbox I've always patiently waited for xbox to assist and theyve always been there. Now it seems theyre at a distant point to where they dont want to deal with xbox 360 customers and thats fine. Im just saying, Ive bought 6 360s 4 new and two used. The
4 is for my four children and the used ones were bought because of the many times the four were sent to xbox for repairs. I currently have one left of the six 360s and its a used one. Heres the cake I bought a slim xbox because it was the new and it lasted
a year before it started freezing the game play. I didnt bother to register it or repair why?, because I had registered the 4 360s before and that was a mess. Anyway Im just a gamer who loves the online Multiplayer gaming with my children and now they stopped
the xbox family membership whats next....XBOX ONE...Id love to but xbox never really helped me move forward....Im just a victim of the Nickel and Dime scam. Anyway sorry for not answering your question but I hope they can help you better than theyve helped

Adding gold to your account will not mess anything up. Since you and your father still share the One, you will still have access to content he has downloaded on his account. There is no way to transfer games between accounts.

Also, if he signs up for the Rewards program, it will not cause you to lose any of the credits you have earned.

To earn the pre-order credits you have to pre-order the game through microsoftstore.com. The credits will be given at a later date. If you don't receive them by January 15, you will need to post in the Rewards forum so support can check on those for you

Thank you for the reply. Great to know I will still be able to play his games. He isn't very active, not as much as I am on the Xbox, that's why I was the one who signed up for the Rewards. We just made the mistake of putting Gold on his account instead
of mine.

I pre-ordered Halo from the Xbox store, so it looks like I won't be getting the reward points. Another mistake . Oh well... Thank you for answering my question, I appreciate the support.
