    Games with Gold not recognizing my subscription


    I recently had my gold subscription renewed (Feb 6, 2017) as per the automatic renewal service, but trying to download games with gold titles or deals with gold it prompts me to buy the title at full price. When I click a button saying Free with GOLD it
    takes me back to the games with gold page.

    I've checked my account and the payment occurred, and I am registered as a gold member, but not getting the deals. I first noticed this issue when trying to download Evolve the other day, and when looking into it, found that it's occurring for all games
    with gold titles available now, and all deals with gold.

    Sure would like some help here.

    Please remove me from the preview program as it is interfering with my 12 month subscription

    Please remove me from the Xbox Preview program as apparently me being in the program interferes with my 12 month subscription and prevents my profile from updating properly, recognizing my 12 month subscription, and keeps me from obtaining my Games With
    Gold.

    Games not recognizing gold subscription

    I just purchased a 3 month Xbox live gold card, typed the code in and everything seemed fine. I’ve tried playing a couple games and they both don’t recognize that I have a subscription. When I check the subscriptions tab it shows that I have gold. This is
    very frustrating.

    After reviewing your account, your Gold subscription for the last three months was a promotional, discounted subscription. As mentioned in the FAQ, promotional subscriptions are not eligible for Rewards:

    Xbox Live Rewards can only recognize paid monthly or yearly standard, non-promotional Xbox Live Gold memberships. If you have a different type of membership, we may not be able to recognize you as an Xbox Live Rewards Gold member.

    I'm also not able to redeem Games with Gold, even though I clearly have as Gold subscription. The website on this domain that it says to go to does not recognize my Gold subscription, and wants me to add months to my 'scrip before I can download Operation
    Flashpoint. But I'm really just posting this to see if my Gold status shows up.

    Hello DannyWC,

    We see that you are not receiving Gold Status this month due to your subscription being a promotional Gold subscription for 1 month. Promotional subscriptions are not eligible for Rewards, so your free 1 month is not eligible. From our FAQ:

    Hi!

    Try clearing the cache from the console by holding down the power button for 10 secs and try again. If it does not work, delete your profile from the console and re-download it.

    A game doesn't recognize whether a player has a trial or paid Gold subscription. Perhaps the individual you're trying to play with doesn't have Gold?
