    Games with Gold not free for me this month?


    Every month I go into the website to 'purchase' the free games with gold games. This month, I was able to 'purchase' the dragon age II xbox 360 games for $0 just fine, but when I click on 'Race the sun' it prompts me to buy it for $9.99. My gold subscription
    doesn't expire until next summer.

    What's going on? I tried using two different web browsers and also the windows 10 xbox app same results.

    EDIT: Same deal with QUBE 2.. it asks me to pay $25. Also both games sometimes show up as 'owned' and sometimes show up as 'free with gold' depending on the page refresh.

  2. Join Gold button in spite of having a valid subscription

    Why the xbox live web page invites me to join Gold in spite of having a valid 12 month Gold subscription? This prevents me from getting the monthly free Xbox 360 Gold games. Xbox One free Gold games are available from the console. thanks

  3. Can't get evolve on my xbox LIVE GOLD account.

    so when evolve got free on xbox live gold, i tried to download the game, but when i click on ''free with gold'' the page keep refreshing..

    so i can't make the transaction for the FREE GOLD GAME, which **** me off..

    Hi Tailslide,

    I'm sorry to hear about this odd issue. By any chance have you attempted to sign out of the account and log back in? Also, I would like to clarify a few other things. Have you been able to try to obtain this through the Xbox website, on the console and the
    windows app correct?

    Have you double checked the status of your subscription to make sure everything looks good to go on that end as well? To check your subscription click

    You may need to go to manage games and apps, and check to see if the store needs an update.

    When I click that link it says "CAD $69.99 every 12 months, next charge on 6/25/2019".

    I tried signing out and back in, no change. It still tried to charge me for the game.

    I also tried using 'In private' mode on edge in case there was some cookie or something causing problems and had the same result.

    I tried using Chrome and Edge browsers, and also using the Windows 10 app. I currently do not have the xbox hooked up I am trying to do this from
    my PC.

    The windows 10 app says 'get it free' but then when I click on it, it asks me to pay for it when the next window pops up.

    Thanks for getting back to us! Now we currently do have a service alert that just went up this could be what's affecting your account: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status

    I suggest to wait of the service alert, If the service alert is resolved and issue persists then in this case the best thing to do is to contact Live Support so they can review your account further as we in the forums don't have the tools to do so.

    It's going to ask if you want help from the virtual agent select
    no thanks,pick the category(Games)and just pick a contact method
    (request a call from support or Chat is faster).
