Games With Gold January 2015 - extra games for renewing gold account?

According to this page:

Xbox Live Games with Gold for January 2015 gives 3 games for free, Xbox Live founder leaves Microsoft

you get two extra games if you renewed your xbox live gold account.

My son DID renew his xbox live gold account, but we do not see the two extra games as options to download free..

As of July 1, 2014, there are no offers to receive credits for renewing gold. The offer to receive credits for playing Games with Gold games for 10 hours ended May 2015. You can see all offers for earning credits on the Missions page of the Rewards site.

When did you download the game? SSX was the Game with Gold for the end of December. This month it's MX vs ATV from the 1st through the 15th.

Have you tried logging out of the system and then back in after renewal? Sometimes this is necessary. Also you find the games in a few different places. They do not automatically start downloading into your cue. This is because there will be other free
games in the future and you may not want all of them.

On your main dashboard screen you see the 'Great deals for games with gold' icon tab. It may also be shown as, "Bargains for members only' with a large GOLD symbol on the picture. They will be located in there. Also you can search the games listed as free
from within the store. I have them too and just found them both ways. The D4 game in the list shows free, and I think also Worms is still free unless it was just removed recently.

 

I searched and found the games in the store, but they said they were not free..

Max looks very fun, would be a great perk for renewing

 

You do not currently have a gold account, therefore the free games will not show up for you automatically. I can see by your post that you have a free account still.

 

The 2 extra free games are a promotion running in Hong Kong, India, Taiwan and Korea. If you don't live in one of those regions, you would not be eligible for that offer. If you do qualify, you should receive an email with codes for the games within 14 days
